The cushion we are giving away is made from an antique durham quilt, which then has antique french fabric squares appliqued on top. These are then printed with the alphabet.
Finished with cream and light blue bobble tasselling.
It is such a lovely, unique cushion and would look gorgeous on your bed or sofa.

All that glitters is gold...

One of my favourite products to create for Sesame and Lilly is the jewellery.
I am forever collecting little trinkets and charms entwining them together to make unqiue pieces of jewellery.
Here are some I created this afternoon and are now available in the Sesame and Lilly shop.

Secrets to be told...

I spent this afternoon creating a Sesame and Lilly vintage journal
from an antique book and french fabric.

I find that these journals are popular presents and also make them into wedding journals or albums.

Filled with blank pages to write secret thoughts.....and envelopes to hide away love notes...

Autumn organising

Since returning back from honeymoon i have had a big desire to organise all my lovely vintage wares,
this includes all the items that i use to create Sesame and Lilly.

First on my list to make look prettier was my vintage tin of silk threads.
I  love all the different beautiful colours i have collected and wanted to be able to see them in my studio.

My threads were a tangled mess which made my heartache, i then re-organised them into some beautiful antique glass jars i had and they now take proud place on one of my studio desks.
Even the husband commented on how lovely they look!

What should be next on my list to tackle?
The ever growing boxes of antique lace or the piles of french fabric that cover my floor like a beautiful faded carpet?

Thank you from the depths of our heart...

Today's pleasure was making Thank You cards to thank the guests at mine and my husbands wedding a few weeks ago.

I always love making such personal items, and wanted our thank you cards to reflect the faded antique beauty theme that ran throughout our special day.

I think they are so pretty and beautiful that i have made a few more which are now available to buy in the Sesame and Lilly shop in packs of 6 cards and envelopes.

Faded french fabric printed with Thank You sewn onto scraps of decaying antique lace.

I hope my guests love them as much as we loved their gifts to us on our special day.
